The Doctor/Patient Consultation

Dr. Sultan meets with each patient in a comfortable consultation room, where your findings are discussed. In certain instances, we may need to contact your physician to discuss your medical history as it relates to your surgery. This meeting allows the doctor to describe the procedures involved in the recommended treatment, answer any questions, and review preoperative and postoperative instructions. Before patients leave our South Florida office, we ask them to call if they think of additional questions following this consultation.

We believe that the key to the long term success lies in taking the “unknown” out of oral and maxillofacial care through patient education. It is our goal to supply patients with a full understanding of the benefits that proper surgical care provides. We achieve this goal by discussing recommended treatment with each patient, often using video, computer graphics, models and diagrams to explain conditions and procedures.
